October is going to be an exciting month for my friends. In
September, the entire iPhone series was launched, and this month, brands are
set to launch their most selling smartphones. This is because Diwali is
approaching, followed by Christmas, making it the entire festive season for
companies to launch their lovely smartphones. The new 200 series will be
released, and the capture button you saw in the iPhone will also be seen here.
Android phones are also involved. I’m very excited for this month because many of you will be buying smartphones. This blog could be really important for you all. I’ll tell you everything I think might happen. Let's start with the first smartphone, which is Realme’s P series. They recently launched the new P van and have now introduced the P2. This is an upgrade, and you will get more value. The design will be slightly different from the last time, especially the camera part. It will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. The specs should include a 50 MP primary camera plus a 2 MP camera, essentially a single-camera setup. I would say the side design is quite similar to the last P series phone but with a few enhancements. It will have a 16 MP selfie camera and a 5,000 mAh battery. Our prediction is that it should be launched around ₹15,000, with the final price going up to ₹16,000.
Next, we have Motorola’s G Stylus. You might have noticed that they have launched back-to-back smartphones this year, and many have become quite popular. This time, there could be something innovative, as it might be a stylus-enabled smartphone. I personally think it should have a design reminiscent of Motorola’s previous models. The display is expected to be a 6.6-inch full HD+ IPS with a 100Hz refresh rate. All the smartphones in this category have solid displays, and I think this one will also have a 5,000 mAh battery with a Snapdragon 680 processor.A unique aspect of this phone will be the stylus that allows you to draw, paint, and select different options. It may have a 16 MP front camera and will run on Android 15 with its UI. We believe it will launch at a price range of ₹20,000 to ₹25,000, so I'm quite excited about this one.
Next is Realme’s G7 Pro, which is coming with a new solid-state button alongside its camera features. It seems that Realme has already planned to copy Apple’s designs, but we will know for sure once it launches. Last year, we tried the Realme GT 5 from China, which was an exciting smartphone known for its performance. However, this time, a different feature is being added. The next version, GT 7 Pro, is set to launch, skipping the GT 6. A Realme executive confirmed that the GT 7 Pro will be launched in India, so we can expect good performance and design changes this time.
It will have a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There will be a micro-curved display, unlike usual curved screens. The processor is not confirmed, but I believe it will most likely be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. It should also feature a 50 MP camera plus a 50 MP ultra-wide and a 50 MP telephoto camera setup along with a 50 MP selfie camera. The battery will be massive at 6,600 mAh with 120W fast charging. The unique aspect could be the new solid-state button, which might allow you to activate the camera or other features. I expect the price to be quite competitive.
Next, we have the highly anticipated OnePlus 13, which is the top model that OnePlus launches every year. Personally, I’m very excited about this smartphone. However, I feel bad for users who have faced issues with software updates, including motherboard issues. This problem needs to be addressed quickly. I feel that my trust in OnePlus's software updates has diminished. If I tell you honestly, I hesitate to update any phone now.
This OnePlus 13, however, is something I’m really looking forward to because they are making significant improvements. The design looks different, but I can’t pinpoint where I’ve seen it before. If you notice the design changes, the biggest change is in the camera setup. Instead of a complete circle, there are now three separate lenses, which resemble the older OnePlus design. It will feature a 6.83-inch LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. After the OnePlus 7, this is the first time OnePlus will introduce a flat display. I am also excited about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, as it has great potential. The camera setup is expected to be a triple camera system with 50 MP + 50 MP + 3x telephoto lenses, utilizing Sony lenses for better quality. If I tell you about the last version, the telephoto specs were slightly underwhelming, but I believe the camera will produce better photos this time. The front camera is also expected to be 50 MP. It will support 120W fast charging and will run on Android 15 with OxygenOS 15. There are significant visual changes expected with the OxygenOS, including customizable widgets and depth effects similar to iOS. While these features are not confirmed, they might be included in the OnePlus 13 launch. The phone will have variants ranging from 56 GB to 1 TB with options of 12 GB to 16 GB RAM. It is expected to launch in late October or November, and after a few months, it will be available in India. We will try to review it for you as well. Overall, the specs seem solid, but I’m particularly curious about the software updates and new features.
Next, we have another exciting smartphone, the Vivo X90. This is basically a top-tier smartphone, and Vivo puts in a lot of effort in aesthetics and camera enhancements. The launch is expected around October 14, with three models: Vivo X90, X90 Plus, and X90 Pro. Among these, the X90 Pro seems to be the most exciting due to the advanced features being added. The display has changed from last year, offering an almost flat screen, which is unexpected since Vivo rarely uses flat screens. It might have a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. Vivo often collaborates with Zeiss for its camera, which enhances the cinematographic capabilities of their smartphones. I have high expectations for the software improvements as well. The camera setup will likely include a 50 MP primary camera, a 200 MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera. The battery will be impressive at 6,600 mAh with 90W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.
The launch in India has not been confirmed since the previous X80 model was not launched in India, but it will definitely be global, and we will aim to review it for you. The Nothing OS 3 is also expected to launch, focusing on design-centric features and some new visual changes. All these smartphones are top-of-the-line, and there’s a lot of excitement for what’s to come. Let me know which smartphone you are most excited about, and we’ll catch up in the next review!
